Some of your main accountabilities will include;

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain secure data science solutions, applying MLOps best practice for automation and monitoring.
  • Undertake repeatable and documented exploratory data analysis using notebooks, validate tools, and present findings effectively using visualisations for dissemination.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data science technologies, algorithms, libraries, and best practice.

  • A degree in a STEM discipline with extensive experience working as a Data Scientist in a business context, or demonstrable equivalent experience within a highly data-literate role.
  • The ability to create machine learning models using a variety of algorithms and deploy them in production environments.
  • Proficiency in the Python programming language, and experience of software development and version control.
  • Experience of using data analysis and visualisation toolkits, for example Jupyter notebooks, VS Code, or RStudio.
  • The ability to build strong relationships, work effectively as part of a team, and the self-motivation to deliver solutions within project timescales, budget, and scope.
  • A passion for digital innovation, and the confidence and self-motivation to propose and deliver solutions that challenge established ways of working.
